High Court Restores 2013 MBBS Admission, Orders Degree Issuance
High Court Quashes 2013 MBBS Admission Cancellation, Orders University To Issue Degree · freepressjournal.in

Shailja Pandey completed her MBBS course in 2013.

Her admission was later cancelled because of a disagreement about her Madhya Pradesh domicile.

The High Court said she had honestly shared the facts about where she lived.

It also said the three-year study rule was treated too strictly by the authorities.

The court cancelled the earlier decision against her.

Rani Durgavati University must now give her a marksheet and medical degree.

Pandey could not practise medicine for more than 13 years because she did not have the degree and registration.

The National Medical Commission will decide whether she is fit to practise, and any required test must be completed within three months.
