Tirupati to Get 50,000-Seat International Cricket Stadium Through BCCI
A new cricket stadium is planned for Tirupati.
It would have room for 50,000 people.

Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad said a 50,000-seat international cricket stadium will be built in Settipalli, Tirupati.
The stadium will be established through the Board of Control for Cricket in India, with its foundation stone expected soon.
The minister said Tirupati could host international and Indian Premier League matches within three years.
The Andhra Pradesh government says it is strengthening sports infrastructure, with a long-term goal of hosting major events including the Olympic Games.
Satya Prasad also discussed Damineedu and Section 22A land issues, and accused opposition leaders of land encroachments and political attacks on officials.
