IndiGo Hyderabad-Chennai Flight Goes Around After Suspected Bird Strike

Planes fly to many places every day, and sometimes something unexpected happens.

A plane flying from Hyderabad was getting ready to land in Chennai.

But the plane that landed just before it, from Port Blair, thought it had hit a bird.

Hitting a bird, even a small one, can be dangerous for a plane.

So the airport decided to check the runway before allowing more landings.

The pilot of the Hyderabad plane was asked to pull up and circle around instead of landing.

This is called a go-around, and pilots practice it many times.

Airport workers checked the runway to make sure it was safe.

When they finished, the plane came back and landed without any problems.

Everyone was safe, and the airport made sure to put safety first.
