In India, very important judges are organising a big meeting to help women get fairness and justice.

The meeting is called 'Justice for Women' and it will take place in the city of Bengaluru.

Supreme Court judge Justice Nagarathna will open the meeting.

Many judges, lawyers, police officers and experts will come together to talk.

They want to make sure that laws meant to protect women actually work well.

They will discuss how women can get legal help, compensation, and safety at home, in public and online.

They will also talk about fairness for women who are accused of breaking the law.

At the meeting, organisers will share booklets that teach women about their rights.

This is the first of several meetings planned across India before a bigger national gathering.
