Forest Department Denies Sabarimala Shoot Permission for Mohanlal's 'Athimanoharam'

A famous Indian movie star named Mohanlal is making a new movie called 'Athimanoharam'.

He wanted to film some scenes at a very special temple called Sabarimala in Kerala.

But the people who take care of the forests said no.

The temple is inside a big protected forest area called the Periyar Tiger Reserve, where tigers and other animals live.

A court order also says people cannot take photos or videos in the temple's holy areas.

So the movie team cannot shoot there and must find other places.

In the movie, Mohanlal plays a police officer named Loulajan.

A director named Tharun Moorthy, who worked with Mohanlal before, is directing the film.

Another actress, Meera Jasmine, is also in the movie.

The film is expected to come out next year.
