Former TDB Chief Hospitalised After Brain Haemorrhage in Gold Case
P S Prasanth is a former leader of the Travancore Devaswom Board.
He is in jail because investigators say he was involved in a case about missing gold at Sabarimala temple.
He became seriously ill after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
Officials moved him to a hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
They said his condition is stable.
He will stay in the hospital until he recovers.

Former Travancore Devaswom Board president P S Prasanth was moved from jail to hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
Prasanth, the 17th accused, is being investigated in the Sabarimala temple gold-loss case.
Officials said he was shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital on Tuesday night and is in stable condition.
The Special Investigation Team arrested him on July 23 over approval for gold artefacts to be sent to a Chennai firm for replating in 2025.
The Vigilance Court dismissed his bail petition on August 22, and the SIT will report his hospitalisation to the Kollam Vigilance Court.
