PMC Deploys Medical Teams and Ambulances Across Pune for Ganeshotsav
The Pune Municipal Corporation is setting up medical help across the city during Ganeshotsav.
Health camps will be available at major Ganesh mandals and municipal hospitals.
Doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers will help people who need care.
A special camp at the Dagdusheth Ganpati Trust will have a small three-bed ICU.
Ambulances and medical teams will be placed near important immersion procession routes on September 25 and 26.
Medical teams will also work at immersion ghats across the city.
More than 50 ambulances have been arranged.
The PMC is working with 120 hospitals during the festival.
These plans are meant to help devotees quickly receive treatment during large crowds.
Pune Municipal Corporation will provide medical services at 275 locations during Ganeshotsav.
A health camp at the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust includes a three-bed ICU and round-the-clock staff.
Ambulances and medical teams will be stationed at key locations during the September 25-26 immersion processions.
The PMC said 11 ambulances are available through the 108 emergency service, while more than 50 ambulances have been deployed overall.
Around 700 to 800 patients received treatment during last year’s immersion processions, according to PMC sources.
