Pune Orders Closure of 13 PGs, Seven Scrap Units

The Pune Municipal Corporation ordered 13 PGs and seven scrap units shut in Wadgaon Budruk, Narhe and Dhayari.

Scrap units stored plastic, paper, metal, sacks and other inflammable materials without sufficient firefighting arrangements.
The action followed inspections of PGs, hostels, coaching classes and other establishments across Pune over three days.
The PMC said inspections will continue, with non-compliant establishments facing closure and possible legal proceedings.
