Indore Zones Begin Issuing Birth, Death Certificates Within 48 Hours
Indore Municipal Corporation has created a faster way to provide birth and death certificates.
People can now get these certificates from one of the corporation’s 22 zonal offices.
The target is to finish the work within 48 hours whenever possible.
Hospitals, crematoriums and cemeteries must send information to the correct zone every day.
Officials will enter the information into the Civil Registration System.
After approval, a PDF certificate will be sent to the family member’s registered mobile number.
People applying offline will receive an inward number while their application is processed.
Officials will also try to complete corrections within 48 hours after checking the documents.
This system is intended to make certificate services quicker and more convenient for families.
