Five Arrested for Smuggling Ganja from Odisha to Nalgonda

Police in Maripeda, near Warangal in India, stopped a car that was driving very fast.

During a search, they found a packet of dry ganja hidden under the driver's seat.

Ganja is another name for marijuana, which is an illegal drug in India.

Police arrested the five people who were in the car.

They also took the car, four mobile phones and some cash.

Police say the five people had rented the car and driven to the state of Odisha to buy the ganja.

They were driving back to their home area, Nalgonda, to sell it.

A court sent the five people to jail until the case is decided.

A police officer said they will keep working to stop illegal drugs and will reward people who share information.
