Sudan: RSF Forms Rival Government Amidst Conflict
Sudan's RSF names president, PM as it forms rival govt to military-backed regime · firstpost.com

Sudan's civil war is getting a new twist.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF), who are fighting the army, have announced their own government, including a prime minister and a president.

The announcement happened in an RSF-controlled city.

They appointed Mohamed Hassan al-Ta’ayshi as prime minister and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo as president.

This new government challenges the current government backed by the army, which has also not been completely formed.

The UN worries this could make the war even harder to end.
