Mohan Yadav Launches ₹17-Crore Parshuram, Shri Krishna Lok Projects
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav began work on two religious projects at Janapav in Madhya Pradesh.
The projects are called Parshuram Lok and Shri Krishna Lok.
The makeover is expected to cost about ₹17 crore.
Janapav is described as the birthplace of Maharishi Parashuram.
The government also says Lord Krishna received the Sudarshan Chakra there.
The plans include gardens, meditation cottages, an auditorium and a ropeway.
The government wants to make Janapav a major religious tourism centre.
It also plans to develop other places connected with Lord Krishna and Lord Ram in the state.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav performed the Bhoomi Pujan for Parshuram Lok and Shri Krishna Lok at Janapav.
The Janapav religious tourism project is expected to cost about ₹17 crore.
Planned facilities include a redeveloped Yagya Kund, auditorium, meditation cottages, herbal garden, landscaping and a multipurpose building.
The project also includes construction of a ropeway to improve access to the site.
Yadav said other places linked to Lord Krishna and Lord Ram in Madhya Pradesh will be developed as pilgrimage destinations.
