Marriage Aid Distributed to 54 Families in Palakurthi
Fifty-four families in Palakurthi received money through two government schemes.
The schemes are called Kalyanalakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak.
Each family received Rs 1,00,116 to help with a daughter’s marriage expenses.
MLA Mamidala Yashaswini Reddy gave the beneficiaries their cheques.
She said eligible families should apply for the support.
The total amount distributed was Rs 54,06,264.
Financial assistance under the Kalyanalakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes went to 54 beneficiaries in Palakurthi mandal on Monday.
MLA Mamidala Yashaswini Reddy handed over the cheques at the MLA camp office in the mandal headquarters.
Each beneficiary received Rs 1,00,116, totalling Rs 54,06,264.
The schemes support economically weaker families with expenses for their daughters’ marriages.
Yashaswini Reddy said the Congress government aimed to deliver welfare benefits to eligible people without delay.
