Himachal Pradesh distributes Rs 5.78 crore welfare aid to workers
Himachal Pradesh gave about Rs 5.78 crore to construction workers and their families.

Education support was the largest scheme, providing Rs 2.74 crore to 968 beneficiaries for workers’ children.
Other assistance covered marriage, housing, accidental deaths, maternity and paternity, girl children, and disabled dependents.
