Madhya Pradesh To Report Progress On 28 Higher Education Actions

Madhya Pradesh plans to make Bhopal and Indore education hubs and has created 16 Centres of Excellence.
Madhya Pradesh’s Higher Education Department will submit an Action Taken Report on 28 national action points.
The points cover access, quality, technology training, internationalisation, research and industry-academia collaboration.
The department says 70-80% of university teaching posts are vacant, with many cases pending in court.
Officials also cited concerns over research quality, PhD standards and the shortage of professors for modern courses.
The state plans education hubs in Bhopal and Indore, a NAAC-support cell and 16 Centres of Excellence.
