KTR Backs Congress MLA's Corruption Claims Against Telangana Government
A leader from a political party called BRS, named K.T. Rama Rao, spoke to reporters on India's Independence Day.
He said he agrees with a Congress party leader named Komatireddy Raja Gopal Reddy, who says there is a lot of corruption in the state of Telangana.
That Congress leader said a poor person who wants Rs 5 lakh to build a house has to follow about 500 rules.
He also said people in high offices are taking huge amounts of money through corruption.
Rama Rao said the Chief Minister and other top Congress leaders are being accused of corruption by a member of their own party.
He said he hopes Rahul Gandhi, a big Congress leader, is listening to his own party members.
Rama Rao praised KCR for giving electricity all day to people.
He reminded everyone that during 60 years of Congress rule there was no electricity.
Rama Rao said his party, the BRS, will come back to power and make Telangana better again.
