Manipur Maps 1,000 Springs, Identifies 173 Critical Sources for Revival
The Directorate of Environment and Climate Change in Manipur has mapped over 1,000 springs in the state.
Out of these, 173 springs in Ukhrul and Noney districts are very important and will be revived first.
The department also mapped 71 wetlands, with 3 already notified and 4 being rejuvenated.
