Fuel prices in several big Indian cities stayed the same on 1 September 2026.

In Delhi, petrol cost Rs.

102.12 per litre and diesel cost Rs.

95.20.

Hyderabad had the highest listed petrol and diesel prices among the four main cities discussed.

Chennai’s petrol price was Rs.

107.76 per litre and its diesel price was Rs.

99.55.

In Mumbai, petrol cost Rs.

111.21 and diesel cost Rs.

97.83 per litre.

Bengaluru’s petrol and diesel prices were also provided.

India imports much of the crude oil used to make these fuels.
