Food safety officials checked two places after people complained about food problems.
One place was Chairman’s Club in Bengaluru.
They found expired chilli, unapproved colours, and an unclean kitchen there.

The club had unauthorised artificial colours, an unhygienic kitchen, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods stored together.
Expired products were seized, and the club’s kitchen was closed and sealed under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
