Homoeopaths Cannot Practice Other Systems of Medicine: NCH Clarifies
Some doctors in India learn a special kind of medicine called homoeopathy.
These doctors are called homoeopathic practitioners.
The government has now clearly said that these doctors can only use homoeopathy to treat patients.

The NCH said the proviso to Regulation 36(y) is integral and must be considered when interpreting the restriction.
The NCH also cited Sub-regulation (7) of Regulation 14 of the BHMS Regulations, 2022, recognising the role of homoeopathic graduates in government health facilities.
