Vadodara Ransom Probe Leads Police to Rs 4 Crore Heroin
Police in Vadodara were investigating a businessman who received death threats and a demand for Rs 10 crore.
The businessman agreed to pay Rs 10 lakh as part of the investigation.
Police said the money was supposed to be collected in Delhi through hawala.
Officers arrested Kuldeep Ganeshdas Swami in Chandni Chowk.
They said he was collecting the money for the Rohit Godara gang.
Swami had a key to a car parked in Najafgarh.
Police searched the car and allegedly found heroin worth about Rs 4 crore.
Investigators are now trying to find where the drugs came from and who was supposed to receive them.
