2026 Maruti Baleno Delivers Higher Mileage With Less Power
Maruti Suzuki has updated the Baleno hatchback for 2026.
It now uses a smaller three-cylinder petrol engine instead of a four-cylinder engine.
The new engine makes less power than the old one.
However, the car is claimed to use less fuel.
The petrol manual returns 23.80 kmpl, while the AMT returns 24.77 kmpl.

The CNG manual version delivers 33.61 km/kg, up from the previous model’s 30.61 km/kg.
The new petrol engine produces 83 hp and 112 Nm, lower than the outgoing engine’s 90 hp and 113 Nm.
