CM Adhikari: ₹3,000 August instalment transfers to begin August 17
The government started a program called the Annapurna Yojana.
It gives 3,000 rupees every month to women between 25 and 60 years old.
The program began on June 1.
Very many women signed up, about 2.16 crore people, before the deadline on July 31.
Some women became worried when their August money did not arrive.
People complained about the delay on social media.
The Chief Minister, Suvendu Adhikari, told everyone not to worry.
He said the money will start coming from August 17.
Women who applied before July 10 will get their money first.
Women who applied later will get their money after their documents are checked.
Eligible women aged 25 to 60 receive ₹3,000 per month under the Annapurna Yojana, which was rolled out from June 1.
Around 2.16 crore applications were received before the application window closed on July 31.
CM Suvendu Adhikari said the delayed August instalment will start being transferred from August 17.
Applicants who applied on or before July 10 with verified documents will be paid on August 17; those who applied between July 11 and July 31 will be paid in subsequent phases.
From September onwards, payments will be transferred during the second week of each month as long as the BJP government remains in power.
