IMD warns Kerala faces fresh spell of heavy rain

Kerala is a place in India that recently had very heavy rain.

The rain caused floods and lots of damage.

Sadly, 23 people died and three fishermen are still missing.

Now, weather experts called the India Meteorological Department say more heavy rain is coming.

A low-pressure area over the ocean is getting stronger.

It is expected to bring more rain to Kerala in the next few days.

Officials have issued warnings for several districts, especially near hills and rivers.

People living near the coast are told to be careful because of big waves.

Fishermen should not take small boats into the sea.

Everyone hopes the new rain will not cause more damage.
