Gurugram's Sanath Road Transformed into Safe, Green Street

Sanath Road in Gurugram used to be a very messy and unsafe place.

There were no sidewalks, lots of garbage, and big holes in the road.

People had a hard time walking or driving there.

The government wanted to fix it by cutting down almost 400 trees, but a group called the Raahgiri Foundation had a better idea.

They worked with the government to make the road safer and cleaner without cutting any trees.

They added bike lanes, fixed the sewage problems, and even planted new trees.

Now, the road is a nice place where people can walk, play, and enjoy the shade.

It's a great example of how cities can be made better for the people who live there.
