Sometimes the ground shakes a little bit, and these shakes are called tremors.

On a Thursday afternoon, gentle tremors were felt in three areas of a district called Nashik in India.

The areas were Surgana, Kalwan and Peth.

The shakes were mild, so nobody was hurt and nothing was damaged.

The tremors happened at about 3:38 and 3:40 in the afternoon.

Scientists could not tell exactly how strong the shaking was.

A few days earlier, the same district had felt nine other tremors.

A team of scientists from the National Center for Seismology came to inspect the area.

They are studying the ground to learn more about the shaking.
