Athulya Senior Care opens third geriatric centre in Bengaluru
Older people sometimes need extra help to stay healthy, happy, and safe.

It just opened a brand-new senior care centre in Mathikere, a part of Bengaluru.
This is Athulya's third senior care centre in the city.
Karnataka's Health Minister, U T Khader, came to the opening celebration on Sunday.
The new centre helps seniors with doctor visits, memory care, exercise, and long-term support.
This kind of help is needed because people in Karnataka are living longer than before.
About nine out of every hundred people in Karnataka are now older adults.
The government is also paying attention to memory problems like dementia and has special plans to help.
The new centre is good news for grandparents and their families in Bengaluru.
Athulya Senior Care launched its third Integrated Geriatric Care Centre in Mathikere, Bengaluru.
The facility was inaugurated by Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Minister U T Khader on Sunday.
With the new centre, Athulya Senior Care now has more than 300 dedicated senior-care beds across Bengaluru.
The centre will provide specialised healthcare, cognitive care, rehabilitation and long-term support for senior citizens.
Older adults constitute 9.2% of Karnataka's population, according to the Sample Registration System 2021.
