Lokesh Inaugurates Palliative and Geriatric Care Facility in Visakhapatnam
A new hospital for older people and seriously ill patients opened in Visakhapatnam.
It is called the Sneha Sandhya Age Care Foundation.
Nara Lokesh opened the main building on Monday.
The hospital has five floors and 120 beds.
It offers special care to help elderly and palliative-care patients.
Many donors and organisations helped build it.
The hospital also uses solar power for more than half of its energy needs.
Lokesh said the Andhra Pradesh government would continue supporting the facility.
Nara Lokesh inaugurated the Sneha Sandhya Age Care Foundation at Gambheeram, Visakhapatnam, on Monday.
The five-floor facility has 120 beds and occupies a 1.20-lakh-square-foot campus.
It provides specialised palliative and geriatric care for elderly and seriously ill patients.
The hospital uses solar energy to meet more than 50 percent of its energy needs.
Lokesh promised continued Andhra Pradesh government support and urged the institution to achieve national and global importance.
