Some dogs that live on the streets in a city in India attacked a little child.

The attack was caught on a security camera.

Neighbours heard the child and ran to help, so the child did not get badly hurt.

Many people in the city are worried because street dogs are biting more and more people.

Last year, the city recorded more than 38,000 dog bite cases.

That is a big jump from the year before, when there were about 28,000.

A local leader says the city promised to look after the dogs and stop them from having puppies, but the plan has not happened yet.

City officials say they are working on it and will do more surgeries to stop dogs from having puppies.

They also say people who are bitten can get free medicine to protect them from rabies.

Everyone agrees that something must be done to keep both children and dogs safe.
