Balavardhana Rao likely selected as Vijaya Dairy chairman
Dr Dasari Venkata Balavardhana Rao may become the new chairman of Vijaya Dairy.
Vijaya Dairy is a milk producers’ cooperative union.
He is already a director on its board.
He has been acting as chairman since Chalasani Anjaneyulu resigned.
The board is expected to meet on September 22.
At that meeting, members may formally elect Balavardhana Rao.
Sources said the decision had support from Telugu Desam Party leaders.
Balavardhana Rao later performed special prayers at a temple and received congratulations.
