B Sridhar Varma Takes Charge as New SVBC Chairman
B Sridhar Varma is now the chairman of the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel, or SVBC.
He took charge at a ceremony in Tirupati on Saturday.
Dr A Sarath, a TTD official, was present.
Before starting his new job, Varma prayed and received blessings from priests.
Many family members, leaders and officials attended the event.
Varma thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Minister Nara Lokesh and the Nandamuri family.
He also thanked Palamaner MLA N Amarnath Reddy for supporting him.
Varma said he wants SVBC to share spiritual messages and offer better programmes for devotees.
