Kiwi Launches Interest-Back EMI on UPI Ahead of Diwali
Kiwi, a financial technology company, is introducing a new way to pay called interest-back EMI on UPI.
This lets you buy things and pay in installments, with the added bonus of getting some of the interest back as cashback.
If you choose a 3-month payment plan, you'll get all the interest back, while 6- or 9-month plans give you half back.
You can use this at any store that accepts UPI payments.
This helps people afford more expensive items and is available through the Kiwi app, using a QR code scan and your UPI PIN.
It aims to make shopping easier and provides a new option beyond traditional credit cards.
