Veteran artist Ganesha Somayaji brings five decades to Bengaluru
Ganesha Somayaji is an artist who has been painting for more than 50 years.
He is holding a special exhibition called Reflection in Bengaluru.
The exhibition begins on October 1 and lasts until October 7.
Visitors can see his watercolour, oil and acrylic paintings.
His works show landscapes, people, old places and scenes from nature.
Somayaji was born in Bantwal and trained in Mangaluru.
He has made more than 1,000 artworks and shown them across India.
People can visit the exhibition every day from 11 a.m.
to 7 p.m.
Ganesha Somayaji B.’s solo exhibition, Reflection, opens at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat in Bengaluru on October 1.
The week-long exhibition runs through October 7, with visiting hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The show features landscapes, portraits and works inspired by historical sites, forts, riverbanks, beaches and folk traditions.
Born in Bantwal in 1949, Somayaji has created more than 1,000 works and held 25 solo exhibitions.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by veteran artist Krishna Setty, with Karnataka Lalitha Kala Academy president Pa. Sa. Kumar presiding.
