Government Launches Medicine-Safety Tools and Biovigilance Programme in India

Officials said these systems will help collect and study safety information from across India.
They also said India now contributes more information to the World Health Organization’s patient-safety database.
The overall goal is to help patients receive safe, effective and appropriate medicines.
