Punjab Develops Forest & Nature Awareness Parks
The Punjab Government is creating eight Forest & Nature Awareness Parks to increase green cover in the state.
These parks are being built in Pathankot, Patiala, Amritsar, and Hoshiarpur.
The Forest and Wildlife Preservation Department is working quickly to finish these projects.
They are also making a new law called 'The Punjab Protection of Trees Act, 2025' to help keep the environment clean and green.
This law will apply to all cities in Punjab and will have special officers to take care of the trees.

Parks are being built in Pathankot (4), Patiala (2), Amritsar (1), and Hoshiarpur (1).
The Forest and Wildlife Preservation Department is working on these projects with urgency.
Specific locations include Village Gharota, Kataruchak, Haibat Pindi, and ITI Bamiyal in Pathankot.
