Mumbai breaks into world's Top 15 data centre markets

More than six times that capacity is now planned or under construction.

That places Mumbai 15th in the world for live data centre power.

Mumbai has strong internet cables under the sea and many companies nearby that need these services.

Cloud services, AI and businesses going digital keep increasing demand for data centres.

To climb into the top 10, Mumbai needs more electricity, better power lines, faster permits and cleaner energy.

Experts at Knight Frank say Mumbai is well placed to keep growing.
