Suvendu directs MLAs to set up Netaji service centres
West Bengal's leader, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, made a big announcement on Wednesday.
He told all MLAs — the people elected to help each area — to open help centres.
These centres will be called Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Seva Kendra, named after a famous Indian freedom fighter.
The government will give each centre Rs 30,000 every month to run it.
But there are rules: centres that do not work will not get the money.
Every centre must show a portrait of Netaji wearing traditional Indian clothes.
More than 100 of these centres are already open.
The government will also give former MLAs more money for medical needs — Rs 10,000 instead of Rs 6,000 every month.
This extra help starts in August.
The centres are meant to serve everyone in the area, whether they voted for the MLA or not.
