Telangana Forecasts Light Rain, Strong Winds This Week
The India Meteorological Department says that Telangana will get some rain this week, but not too much.
The rain will be light or moderate, and some places like Musheerabad and Kapra had the most rain on Sunday, about 18 millimeters.
In Medak district, a spot called Tekmal got the most rain, over 50 millimeters.
The department also warned that in some parts of the state, the wind could be strong, up to 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
Most districts will see light rain on Monday, and the weather will be partly cloudy on Monday and Tuesday in Hyderabad.
IMD forecasts light to moderate rainfall across Telangana for the coming week.
Musheerabad and Kapra recorded the highest Sunday rainfall in Hyderabad: 18.8 mm and 18.5 mm respectively.
Medak district’s Tekmal mandal had the highest Sunday rainfall overall: 52.3 mm.
Several districts, including Adilabad, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, and Nizamabad, will see light rains on Monday.
IMD warned of strong surface winds up to 30‑40 km/h in isolated pockets across all districts.
