KV Inaugurates 33/11 Power Sub-Station in Jharsuguda
A new power station was opened in Jharsuguda district by the Deputy Chief Minister.
This power station cost Rs 11 crore to build and will help more than 5,000 homes and businesses get better electricity.
Before this, these areas were getting power from another station.
The new station will make the electricity more reliable and help fix problems faster.
Many important people from the area were there for the opening.
Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo inaugurated a new 33/11 KV power sub-station in Pokharasale, Jharsuguda district.
The sub-station, commissioned by TPWODL, cost Rs 11 crore and will benefit over 5,000 consumers in 15 areas.
The new facility aims to improve voltage profile, enhance power supply reliability, and reduce restoration time.
The sub-station replaces the previous power source, the Kolabira power sub-station, for the mentioned areas.
The inauguration was attended by local dignitaries including Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit and Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy.
