Four arrested in Srikalahasti murder linked to Chennai gang
A man named Magalampati Sivakumar was attacked with knives near a river in a town called Srikalahasti, and he did not survive.
This happened on August 2.
The police worked hard to find out who did it and formed a special team of officers to investigate.
Soon, they arrested four men they believe attacked Sivakumar.
Three of the men are from Thiruvallur district in Tamil Nadu, and one is from Puttur town.
The police also found two knives, two phones, and a motorcycle that were used in the attack.
The police chief said the men attacked on purpose, to get revenge.
They thought Sivakumar had told the police in Chennai about a dangerous criminal named Thoppai Ganeshan.
Ganeshan had been killed by police in March, and his gang blamed Sivakumar for it.

Sivakumar was attacked with sharp weapons near the Swarnamukhi river bund on August 2 and died of multiple stab injuries.
The accused are Venkatesan Karthik (32), Velu Gopinath (27), and B Sridhar (26) of Thiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu, and Munuswamy Surya (19) of Puttur town in Tirupati district.
Police seized two knives, two mobile phones, and a motorcycle used in the crime.
District SP L Subba Rayudu said the murder was a planned act of revenge, as the gang suspected Sivakumar of tipping off police about most-wanted criminal Thoppai Ganeshan, who was killed in a Chennai police encounter on March 16.
