Karnataka CM Shivakumar Allocates Portfolios to Cabinet Ministers
Every state has ministers who take care of different jobs, like schools, hospitals, or housing.

On Wednesday, he gave jobs, called portfolios, to his cabinet ministers.
Shivakumar kept the most important job for himself, which is looking after money, called Finance.
He also kept control of intelligence, law, and city planning.
Zameer Ahmed Khan will now look after housing for people.
U.T. Khader will take care of health and hospitals.
Madhu Bangarappa will look after schools and education.

Lakshman Savadi took Cooperation, while Shivalinge Gowda took over Excise control from the Finance Department.
