Thane Police Sub-Inspector Killed During Night Patrol; Suspect Held
Police Sub-Inspector Kisan Bhoir was working a night patrol in Thane.
He was wearing his uniform and traveling with other officers.
A man allegedly attacked him from behind near Pokhran Road No.
2.
Police said the man used a bamboo stick and a stone.
Bhoir suffered serious head injuries.
He was taken to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Police detained Raju Valmiki, whom they identified as the attacker.

Chitalsar police registered a murder case and detained Valmiki as they investigate the motive.
