China Eastern to Launch Delhi-Shanghai Flights
China Eastern Airlines is starting new flights between Delhi and Shanghai.
These flights will start on January 2, 2026, and will run every day.
The flight will take about 8 hours.
The Chinese Embassy in India shared this news.
They also said that another flight route from Kolkata to Kunming will start soon.
This is good news because it means more travel options between India and China.
The two countries have been working to improve their relationship after some problems a few years ago.
More flights will help people travel more easily between the two countries.
Air India will also start flying this route four times a week from February 2026 using big planes with comfortable seats.
China Eastern Airlines will launch daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Shanghai starting January 2, 2026.
The flight will depart Shanghai at 12:50 PM and arrive in Delhi at 5:45 PM, with a duration of 7 hours and 55 minutes.
The Chinese Embassy in India announced the new route, indicating a restoration of air links between the two countries.
The Kolkata-Kunming route is set to return soon, and a new direct connection between Mumbai and Shanghai is in the works.
