IndiGo Ends Wide-Body Operations, Suspends London Service From October
IndiGo to end wide-body operations from Oct 25 · financialexpress.com

IndiGo is a big airline in India.

It has been flying long trips with big planes called Boeing 787‑9.

Starting on October 25, 2026, it will stop using those big planes and will not fly to London until it gets new planes called Airbus A350‑900.

Instead, it will use smaller planes called Airbus A321XLR for the Mumbai‑Amsterdam flight.

The company says the world is a bit more expensive and uncertain right now, so it is easier to use smaller planes.

It will give customers other travel options or refunds if needed.

IndiGo says this experience will help it use its own big planes when they arrive in 2027.
