Tamil Nadu Expands NCD Screening Program to Small Businesses
T.N.’s non-communicable diseases screening programme for workplaces to now cover small enterprises and offices · The Hindu

Tamil Nadu is starting a new health program to check for diseases at work.

This means that people who work at small businesses and offices will be able to get checked for problems like diabetes and high blood pressure.

The program wants to reach about 600,000 workers in 7,750 different places.

This new program builds on an older one, which already checked many workers in factories.

The goal is to make sure that workers stay healthy and catch any problems early.

There's also a separate program, taking healthcare to people's homes, which has already helped millions of people.
