Rajasthan foreign tourist visits jump 336% in six years

Rajasthan is a big, colourful state in India that many people love to visit.

The government counted how many visitors came from other countries.

In 2020, about 4.46 lakh foreign visitors arrived.

By 2025, that number had grown to 19.45 lakh.

That is a 336 percent increase!

In 2021, very few foreign visitors came because of COVID-19, which made travel difficult.

After that, more visitors returned every year.

People from inside India also visited much more often in 2025 than in 2020.

A minister named Gajendra Singh Shekhawat shared these numbers with the Rajya Sabha, part of India's parliament.

The government supports tourism projects to make visiting Rajasthan even better.
