Six killed, 12 injured as bus hits truck in Suryapet
A bus carrying people from Hyderabad to Eluru crashed into a truck in Suryapet district.
The accident happened early Wednesday morning.
Six people died, including five women.
At least 12 other people were hurt.
Police said the truck may have lost control and hit a road divider first.
The bus then hit the truck from behind.
Pillars on the truck broke loose when a securing chain snapped and struck the front-right side of the bus.

The bus, operated by Abhi Travels, was carrying 42 passengers from Hyderabad to Eluru in Andhra Pradesh.
Police said the truck lost control near Dwarakunta and hit a divider before the bus struck it from behind.
At least 12 people were injured, including two in serious condition; two victims remained unidentified and an investigation was opened.
