CDSCO Flags Goree Beauty Cream Over Toxic Heavy Metals
Indian regulators have warned people about some beauty creams.
One of them is called Goree Beauty Cream.

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation flagged Goree Beauty Cream and Chandni Whitening Cream as unauthorised for import into India.
The regulator said both products contained heavy metals exceeding specified limits and could pose health risks.
The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration had acted against Goree Beauty Cream in July after complaints and laboratory testing.
Testing found excessive mercury and lead in Goree Beauty Cream, which also lacked mandatory label information such as an expiry date.
Authorities advised consumers not to use the products and warned traders against selling, distributing or advertising them.
