India’s drug regulator has warned people about two skin-whitening creams.

The creams are called Goree Beauty Cream and Chandni Whitening Cream.

The regulator says they were made in Pakistan and contain too much of some harmful metals.

These metals can make people sick and may be dangerous.

The creams are not authorised for sale in India.

People who already bought them should not use them.

When buying cosmetics, shoppers should check the manufacturer and licence information.

They should also check the batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date.

Imported products should have a registration number.
