A university in Telangana that teaches farming and agriculture had a big celebration.

The celebration was for the 92nd birthday of Jayashankar, the leader the university is named after.

The head of the university, Aldas Janaiah, said farming will be very important for Telangana's future goals in 2047.

The university wants to build new technology, including artificial intelligence that can farm without people.

To do this, they need a lot of money, about 1,500 crore rupees.

They asked the state government for 850 crore rupees and the central government for 465 crore rupees.

A special guest said he was happy that 70 out of every 100 students at the university are girls.

Another speaker said universities need to solve problems like climate change and help farmers who have little land.

Staff and students also asked the leaders for help with administrative problems at the university.

Everyone hopes the university will one day become the best farming university in India.
